THE WORD:
Proverbs 3:3 Let not mercy and truth forsake you; Bind them around your neck, Write them on the tablet of your heart,
FAMILY NEWS: Yay God! We were able to celebrate the birthdays of our three blessing of Go d and good health! I wish that I had a lot m ore space to share the photos from the small birthday parties that we had for the kids… God blesses us with them because they have such a desire to sing and be a part of the service… Between Harmony Richard and Aria & the “Gospel Kids Club” and singing & playing one Sunday (all here in the picture, Richard is behind the music to the right of Aria) for pre service fun with me I can hardly contain my Joy!!
CHURCH & TEEN NEWS: We are doing a trial of the youth church idea that I originally had when I first came 3 years ago. We are doing a short-term trial of 4- 6 weeks of service for teen teachings that will be for ages 12-19. The plan is to share in the worship experience together and the break time fellowship as well, then to split into 2 separate teaching times in 2 separate theaters that wile run simultaneously. This will be interesting, as I will be adding a few more duties to my morning routine. This means that instead of getting there at 6:30 I will have to get there between 5:30 & 6:00 am in order to have the two theatres set up in time. I had a vision at the beginning of the spring summer change that I believe to be a vision from the Father. God’s vision to me was that the church would see 100 people in attendance by the time summer was over and 120 in service regularly by Christmas… I know it is really going to happen!
WHAT’S HAPPENING:
God is blessing Eddie, one of our newest “members”, here at the Bridge. He has been diagnosed with Lung cancer is getting baptized & is in love with God and the fellowship here. In fact he has said that he has never ever seen or been a part of a family like this let alone a church! Mick is doing well also. He has been working & living at Riverview Conference Center in Cedar Falls and is growing so strong in the Lord that sometimes he makes me feel like I am standing still! The biggest hurdle that he faced recently was where he would stay for the winter as the Conference Center closes then. Mick has done so well & been a blessing to everyone there that they granted him special permission to live there for the winter & a cabin owner gave permission for Him top stay! To God be The Glory!
Jade a teen that many of you have seen in multiple letters is officially on his way to a better life. He has been accepted at & is going to Job Corps in Denison Iowa. You may remember that I took a trip there with him & another young man this spring. He has been excited to go ever since I told him about it even before we toured. However he could not go until his community service was done & he paid all of his fines. He leaves October 13, 2008.
Well that is pretty much it folks… and by that I mean that I really shouldn’t write more because you will be board to tears… I know that I am not a writer anywhere near the caliber of Rachel, but at least you’re informed… --------------- Armond
 PRAYER REQUESTS:
• Please pray for Mick Eddie & Jade, as they definitely need it now. • Please pray that the vision of God would come to fruition in due time & that we would see the fruit • Please take some time to rejoice in the Lord and seek His face
